The Brébeuf summer programme is available for boys and girls, ages 9 to 17, and is divided into two distinct parts:
1. English and/or French as a Second Language Study (ESL/FSL)
2. Excursions and Activities
On arrival, students are issued a lanyard used to identify their language of study. From that point forward, communication with that student will be done only in their selected language - either French or English. A typical day in the programme offers a three-hour language session and a scheduled or leisure excursion or activity.
On-campus leisure activities may include swimming, ball sports, foosball, ping-pong, computer with Internet access, and shopping.
Excursions include one full-day and one half-day excursion per week, as well as a cultural evening as part of your package.
In the language programme, you receive the following:
15 hours of ESL or FSL study
In addition, all students attend a language workshop once weekly designed to bring classroom learning into real-life situations
Professional and qualified teachers
Small classes – 15 students max
Out-of-class immersion in target language
Students attending the four or five-week session may choose to sign up for our bilingual programme consisting of two or three weeks of English instruction and two or three weeks of French instruction.
